The Budo Club is a registered Charity founded in 1957 to promote the values of respect, discipline, friendship and achievement as found in the Martial Arts. Although the Club is one of the oldest in the Country it is as new, vibrant and award winning today as it has ever been.

Judo as a major component of the Club has, over the years produced 15 National Champions, 4 European Championships Medallists and 4 World Championships competitors along with an Olympian, Julian Davies and 2014 Common Wealth Games Silver Medallist, Tom Reed.

Budo is a generic term used to encapsulate all the Martial  arts regardless of type. The underlying principles of all martial systems including Judo, Aikido, Karate or Jujitsu are Budo principles. Budō is a compound of the word bu (武:ぶ), meaning war or martial; and dō (道:どう), meaning path or way.

Members of Devizes Budo Club will be training through the night in a bid to raise money for their new Dojo off Windsor drive.

The challenge will start with club members along with friends, family and others wanting to get involved by taking part in Aikido, judo and karate.

Anyone is welcome to come along and try the different martial arts, have some fun and help the club in the process. All donations are welcome, even items for future sell or auction. Or just call in for five minutes to cheer us on.

Time To Buy: Buy from any of the major shops through our easy fundraising account. Use the link to register, then for no extra cost to you, the Budo Club will get up  to 1.5% back on your purchases.
