The Budo Club is a registered Charity founded in 1957 to promote the values of respect, discipline, friendship and achievement as found in the Martial Arts. Although the Club is one of the oldest in the Country it is as new, vibrant and award winning today as it has ever been.
Judo as a major component of the Club has, over the years produced 14 National Champions, 3 European Champion medallist and 2 World Championship competitors along with an Olympian, Julian Davis.

The Club structures around a non compulsory Nationally recognised grading syllabus. The instructors who teach, range from 5th Dan to 1st Dan Black Belts, with many years experience and Nationally recognised coaching certificates. The Club has a Bronze CLUBMARK Award and all Instructors are fully CRB checked and insured.
